"I believe the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in football"

Is he high?

And we have a right to lose respect for him when his opinion is different from ours, especially when it just sucks in general.

He's right. Dallas is always the best team in the offseason. They usually peak in August; unfortunately just before the real games begin.

Dallas is probably more stacked with talent than any team in the NFL but suffer from coaching that cannot take them to the big game. It's 50-50 they make it to the Superbowl if they had Payton and Williams coaching that team.

I'd be very afraid of the Cowboys with Payton as their head coach

Imagine Gregg Williams running his defensive philosophy with 2 pro bowl CB's and Demarcus Ware blitzing.

if favre comes back i still think the vikings maybe more "talented" than the cowboys.. as far as starters go.. especially both sides of the line.

the cowboys do have a nice 3 way running back by committee going tho.

Viking's secondary isn't as impressive as they use to be.

Maybe he should have said the Cowboys have the best players in the NFL. Then it becomes the players and coaches are NOT together as a team.

No kidding. I'm surprised Dallas hadn't tried to get a 2nd rounder for Marion Barber already.

It's only march. He'll probably say someone different after the draft, change it before preseason, after preseason, and 20 times during the regular season. Don't worry about it.

Besides if you go position by position it's not an unreasonable thing to think. Despite winning the Super Bowl, the Saints are not head and shoulders more talented than the rest of the league.

We are the most talented where it matter the most. QB, MLB, and coaching staff.

Most physically talented team with the worst coach and the worst intangibles?

Then yes, Cowboys are the shite!

Do you lose respect for your Mother or Father just because they may have a different opinion than you do? sounds a little narrow minded to me?

if we follow your "logic" anyone that disagrees with you on anything-loses your respect. bet you don't have many friends left.

And Dilfer was actually one of the few who gave the Saints respect consistently last season. He's the one that set Cowherd straight after the Vikes game.

Is there really that much separation at the top of the NFL? I don't think we were a ton better than Indy or Minnesota, and Dallas and the Jets didn't seem all that far behind in the second tier.
