It's not just SEC coaches. A lot of other college coaches, high school coaches and former players all think he's a piece of shite. Which is accurate.

this trash comes out ONLY after an ARK win....which is not that often in this series as of late....anyway, just the way it is....most LSU baseball fans are the best, there are a few, as at any other school, that just can't help but tug on Superman's cape....like the guy who started this thread

Yeah I don't get the hate. Van Horne doesn't appear to be a a-hole and is a pretty damn good coach. some ppl can't handle a loss. I am not worried Arky has a good team, LSU won't win them all. the national championship or sec championship won't won on march 19th.

I dont get the hate either. When Smoke got the axe I told SLC I wouldnt mind if LSU went after Van Horn. He holds players accountable, has good assistants and produces good teams every year, every where he coaches. He's also the reason Baum Stadium is what it is.

Van Horn can come off as an arse but its b/c he's a little obsessed about winning. I like his post game interviews, after we lost the 3rd game to Cal he basically said the team stunk it up, didn't play well and better get their heads out of their butts. (paraphrasing).
He's definitely not a touchy, feely type of person.

the sec is tough and 30 games.the hogs will have a bad stretch also.remember 20-10 is a goal.
