Does anyone have any info/updates on which recruits are at risk for qualification? I know Simon was one that people were worried about.

Simon is the main one. Blackmon looks like he won't qualify. I think Alfred Blue had some work to do.
Can't think of anyone else.

Did he ever even sign a LOI?

Is Simon good to go?

Tyrann Mathieu was also a question mark at one time. Not sure if he ever got his stuff in order. Does anyone have any insight?

Won't know until the end of this academic year. They still have time to at least raise their core GPA.

I work with his mother, and she has insisted multiple times that he is fully qualified.

He's in the clear.

That's awesome. I am most excited about him of anyone in the class. Ware is a close 2nd. Boone 3rd.

Jakhari Gore too!
Alfred Blue
Blackmon is not even signed
Simon is probably not going to qualify
Tyronne Matthieu
This class has more "casualty potential," than we can know. Hat knows it.

same here... I think he's one of the 1st freshman that could come in and be ready to see some playing time from the start

Does landing in jail before getting to LSU count as an academic casualty?

Blackmon is gone.
Simon is the top concern.
Worle is on the edge.

"Hypothetically:"
One of our recruits from 2010 was being tutored yesterday for free by a school official. The tutor has been helping him with his grades, etc. for a while now. The tutor had to take a call and leave the office for less than five minutes.
The only person in the room was the recruit. The tutor told the recruit to not let anyone in the office while he/she was gone. When the tutor returned shortly thereafter, the recruit asked to leave, and, according to the tutor, seemed in a hurry to leave, so the tutor let him.
The tutor then noticed that his/her iphone was gone. The tutor knew that he/she had left the phone on their desk and has reported the incident to the principal. The tutor is considering filing a report with the authorities.

the tutor should have taken that important call on his iphone, then it wouldn't have been a problem.
