This looks like the first Predator film since Predator 2 that won't suck.

Not sure I like Adrien Brody's nose being in it. And why do they always have to cast a "badass" female?

I like what I'm seeing. I've been saying that Rodriguez will not allow this one to suck.

Between this and "Machete" he's got me stoked for the near future.

yeah, I remember, but I also instantly thought that they musta have slaughtered those people from the past since their weapons back then were to primitive to stand a chance against the predators, so i don't see how this movie could be any fun.

arnold did rely on some explosives he had left, but he killed the predator with fricking sharpened sticks

Arnold is a trained killer SFP, commando specialist, I just don't see how people from the past would stand a chance, but I don't know, it can happpen anything can in Hollywood.

and which part of this training did he use in his final battle really? not much

that's what makes it interesting

All of it. Unless you think he pulled traps and survival skills out of his arse.

He also killed the Predator with a giant log, not sharpened sticks.

well i didn't expect the protagonist from the past to lack survival/trap skills

you're right, but the point still stands

giant logs were around 150 years ago

people knew how to manipulate/hang them 150 years ago

Technically he didn't kill the predator, though he would've more than likely died from his wounds. So call it what you will I guess.

This would be way cooler if Daniel Day Lewis was the guy fighting the predators.
