I agree with this. Everything on Siamese Dreams was awesome. About 2 songs on M & IS were good, the rest were so-so.
I haven't heard much else, so I would assume it sucks.

1999, the Pumpkins are my favorite band of all time, and I will back you up with Adore. I like it and MCIS more than SD too.

Didn't Corgan basically record Siamese Dream all by himself? What a beast!

Smashing PUmpkins was a farce. it was all Billy Corgan writing every song and everyone's parts. He recorded all the instruments except drums in teh studio. They marketed them to look like a "band" but they were just one nerdy looking dude who couldn't really sing worth crap.

Reminds me of Brian Wilson with the Beach Boys. I agree with you that Corgan's voice is terrible. His music would have been even better if he had just recruited some singers worth a damn.
