Anyone been? I've had the ribs, pulled pork, sausage and brisket as a 'to go' plate and was impressed for BR area BBQ. It seems authentically smoked low and slow. Nice smoke ring on the brisket and very tender. Ribs typical baby backs where the meat slides off the bone tender with good smoke flavor. Nothing needs sauce.

I'm curious what others think. I don't know exactly where it is other than in Livingston Parish.

It's actually in Livingston on the main highway. If you get off at the Livingston exit and go north, it will be on your left after about 1.5 miles or so.

Never been but I know what place you are talking about.

I had to go that way for work a few weeks ago and saw it. I have been meaning to ask if anyone had a review.

They don't have pulled pork bubba. They have sliced pork or chopped. And yes it is very solid, i live south of livingston and frequent mr. wayne's place a good bit.

Yea you're right. It was sliced pork, not pulled. Regardless, it was VERY good. I plan to actually go to the restaurant soon rather than a 'take out' situation like I had.

To me, it was as good as any Memphis BBQ places I've been to including Rendevous(over rated), Interstate, Kneely's, BBQ Store.

Their brisket and beans rule.

Sorry, I'm from EBR. Never cared to learn to spell Denham because I never cared. Why waste brain cells.

The BBQ is outstanding however, so I guess I will have to make a drive there instead of just passing through on the interstate.

Tried it for the first time this weekend. Thought it was pretty good.. Better than many other places..

The bark on the pork must have a ton of garlic in their rub though.. Was very powerful.

Tried it last week. Got a pound 1/2 of the sliced brisket. Wasn't bad, but a little too salty to me.
Was decent, but nothing great IMO!!!!!!
