Um, not that's not what it means. It means that we're making it difficult for other teams to sign PT from us while we negotiate a longer deal.

Duncan smartly points out that they didn't tender Roby last year, either...so you can't read too much into it at this point with Bell or the other guys we didn't tender.

I doubt that very seriously. Teams aren't going to give up a high draft pick for Pierre Thomas...much less two.
