Best food cities outside of the obvious

Most people agree that the top food cities are NYC, L.A., N.O., San Fran, Chicago, Vegas and perhaps a few others.
What are some good cities outside of those that we all know about?
Note: this is not the time to get your panties in a wad over the cities that I've listed or the order that I listed them in (they are in no particular order)

Also a few very good fine dining places in Houston as well as a ridiculous hoard of great prime steak houses.

Isn't that in Orgeon?
Your boyfriend Tiger Attorney probably won't be too happy with this statement.

Sterlington....it has Indian, Messican, a mom and pop plate lunch joint, a mom and pop hamburger joint, a Waffle House, a Sonic,a fried catfish joint that sells crawfish in season,a few gas stations that have fried chicken and boiled peanuts, and ...drum roll in the background...a Johnny's Pizza.

Lulz. Portland has a vibrant restuarant scene. Great micro breweries as well. I would like to visit there.

For anyone that has ever been to the area, what are the restaurants like in Napa, CA or other wine country areas?

That's one of the places that I'd like to visit soon as well.
From what I gather it's a pretty good place to live as well.

Some of the best in the country if not the world. I group SF and Napa together.

What places would you recommend in SF/Napa? I've visited SF twice. The food was good, but I wasn't wowed by it either.

Some others that would be for specific foods:
Boston
Baltimore
Memphis
Kansas City
I'd say no to Savannah. There may be a few good ones, but there are not enough of them to call it a good food city even for that particular cuisine.
