I'm going to try not to verbally abuse you like you deserve but for one LT Is done. Bush is going to stay for less than 8 mil with performance bonuses and IF we were to lose bush we will not replace him with someone past his prime

i think it's all pretty simple

trade reggie bush for cash. use that cash to buy a cloning machine. draft dexter mccluster. clone dexter mccluster 21 times. field a team of dexter mcclusters.

LT is done -- legs are gone -- remember the 1st round pick we gave for Earl Campbell. Keep Reggie and forget LT -- one year, maybe, left. Saints will not get LT or Loomis is a moron.

If you're going to fail, may as well go all in.

Cut Reggie and convince Walter Payton to come back from the dead at his 1975 salary.

McKnight doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Reggie, must less the same field. The speed and agility aren't comparable.

The NFLPA would have a problem with this. Not the "coming back from the dead part" but forcing him to play at his 1975 salary.

You want a better idea? Keep Reggie and focus on positions of need, like the defense.

Plus, they would be grateful that we're paying a retired player a salary close to the salary that he played at.

I was thinking the same thing.

The thing about this stupid thread is that the idea is completely unoriginal. This idea has been tossed around for the past two years. In watching LT last year, I would prefer Mike Bell over LT. LT would not be an improvement over Reggie and would probably have salary demands that are similar.

To the OP, LT is done. Gone the route of Shuan Alexander and Edge James. So many carries on those legs. You should try an original idea, not one that has been discussed ad nauseum on this site.
