So you drop a player who is in the prime of his career and pick up a player on the downfall of his career. fricking genius.

reggie had a very solid season.. dispite the decreased workload. he made the most of his opportunities.

he had his best rushing ypc avg stat at 5.6.. and he had a career long rush this past season. his receving ypr avg is always over 7.

he was a beast in the playoffs.. something he never disappoints in since he's been a saint he has produced touchdowns in every single playoff game except the superbowl..

reggie is also finally completely healthy and will only continue to progress.

Agree 100%.... and to bring in LT to replace him makes absolutely zero sense

pierre is the overall guy.. then reggie is the scat and bell is the mauler.. but if bell is gone we'll need to get some other bruiser.

I'd prefer a better short yardage specialist than Bell (who I think is gone anyway). I'm not sure what we really have in Hamilton.

I want a consistent 1 yard guy. Won't get you many big plays but consistently can get the sort yardage. We need a Mike Alstott on our team.

Heath Evans injury is a question mark. If healthy I think he brings not only a more power runner but pass catching ability that Payton seems to like. Versatility is the key, the more weapons that can do multiple things, the happier Payton is.

I got a better idea. Forget about LT, I bet we could convince Eric Dickerson to come out of retirement and make an even swap for Reggie. I mean Dickerson was a monster in his day. If we are going to dream, lets dream big.

True dat...and Reggie offers more as a receiver & special teams player. People also forget that Reggie was hurt most of last season, his best years are still ahead of him...

If we're going after a San Diego running back, my list goes
1. Sproles
2. Hester
3. Tolbert (FB)
4. LT
