The Saints euphoria is far from over, in a town that waited 43 years for a Super Bowl win. It's a win that happened to fall in the middle of the carnival season.

This year, the list of Orpheus royalty included head coach Sean Payton. On his float was star running back Reggie Bush.

Bush says, "This is a good time man and this is what it's all about."

Of course, what would a parade be, if the Super Bowl trophy didn't make an appearance?

Bush says,"This is the Super Bowl trophy. I mean we carry this thing around like it's a freakin' gym bag and it's the Super Bowl trophy."

I've laughed at the Lombardi everywhere too

He did the same thing at the victory parade. The Orpheus float stopped for a few minutes at the corner of Tchoupitoulas and Poydras. Coach got off the float and walked down the street with the trophy and started a mob scene.

I love it. I've got a picture of the Stanley Cup in my swimming pool, but haven't managed to touch the Lombardi yet. Hmmmm... :plotting:

Pool party at troubl's house. Get Coach to bring the trophy.

Checking airfare for Vegas to Dallas as you read this. What do I need to bring?

I know I'm just being stupid and paranoid, but now that that trophy is popping up everywhere I'm starting to worry about it getting stolen.

man I watched it on st charles and 4th and he did it by us. We thought it was a huge fight then saw the trophy and I ran out so fast i tripped and did a nice roll on to the street before getting back to my feet. He had it in his hand and just let the crowd mob him. I was able to touch the top of the trophy as he turn to head to the other side. It was unbelievable!!!!!

One of the ortho surgeons I work with paid for him and his son to ride on the float with Sean Payton. He was so excited about taking pictures with him. I could have kicked him in the junk for making me miss a parade on Sunday, because he had to go ride in Orpheus on Monday.

I watched the game again today and was screaming and cheering on the great plays just like the first time. I even teared up a little on Porters pick6!! Still so hard to believe!!
