Chad Jones. I'd think Saints would need another Safety if they don't plan to move Jenkins to FS. Which, IMO, they should. They're not high on Chip either. I think Harper, Sharper and Young are all FAs too? Depends on who they resign.

Jones stock seems to be moving up lately though...he might end up as the #1 Safety at his combine.

Jones probably wont be there at #32. And even if he was, we wouldnt get him. We dont need a safety. I guarentee you that Sharper is resigned to atleast a 2 year deal.

Saints could possibly get CScott later in the draft.

What round would you give up for him?

Scott in the later rounds would be the best fit.

Pretty sure the Saints 1st round pick will be DT/OLB. No way we take Chad Jones. Later on, I'm not sure. We're stacked at RB as is, so it wouldn't make much sense to grab Scott. The Saints have a good returner in Roby, so no Trindon...

we'll see what happens in free agency

You're kidding right? The Saints still don't have a 3rd/4th and short back as shown in the Super Bowl. Reggie's gone, no way they pay him 9 million for his production. Scott is the clear choice here as far as LSU players in the draft to NOLA.

True, but he might take a new deal. We just don't know.

I don't think it's a coincidence we saw the best Reggie ever after Petey arrived in Seattle. I think he goes to the Seahawks next year.

Remember that if the collective bargaining agreement isn't renewed then Reggie nor any other players under 6 yrs. in the league will become unrestricted FA this year. The word out of NO at the moment is that the team will pursue a renegtiated contract with RB. Not likely to be cut or traded so not likely to leave NO this year.

Scott is a mid round possibility to replace Bell. Jones only if they plan to move him to LB.

Corection on someone's earlier post the SAints are Very High on Chip Vaughn and Arnoux,

That's the key. If we keep Reggie on the roster, I don't see any way that we sign a RB in this draft. We'll probably end up riding Pierre Thomas and using Mike Bell for another year or two before he gives out.

Could Coleman be drafted as a S/LBer in the later rounds?

Perriloux in the 6th round. Train him for several years to be the next starting QB.

Oh Yea, give Perriloux a million dollars+, in a city like N.O., close to home, around many of the clowns he would hang with, and yea, that's who you want as a future QB. Have you lost it man?

They can sign Cecil Collins while they're at it. Seriously. Everyone in the state of Louisiana knows Perrilloux's face and despises him for what he did to LSU.

The man would be crucified before he made it to the Superdome.
