NegaTigers paying attention?

In no way am I going to compare J Lee to Peyton Manning or LSU to the Colts but as proved last night, it happens to the best of them.
With the game on the line, even some of the best players in the game couldn't make a play to keep it alive or win the game. Peyton's pick 6, Reggie Wayne's drop of a wide open pass for a td and a few other instances of "failure" by future Hall of Famers helped the Saints win.
Had the Saints failed to win the game and Paytons gamble to go for the td on 4th down and then the d not made the stop to get the ball back and the onside kick not have worked, it's a fair bet to say that everybody would be calling him a fricking moron and wanting him fired.
It's football and it happens to everybody.

Peyton's pick 6,
The pick was a great read and play and not a bad throw by Manning.
Saints had some drops as well, but you are right...chit happens.
After 40+ years, it was just time that it happened to someone other than the Saints!!!!!

So, Peyton's a Pick 6 machine now???

Yet, you go on to do so.
I'm not a Lee basher, but this post is really off target. Peyton Manning threw one INT last night. One.
Without Peyton Manning, the Colts would not have been in the Superbowl, would not have won a playoff game, would not have won 5 games this year.
Can you, without smiling, say the same thing about Lee.
And while some in the media/fanbase would second guess Sean Payton's decisions (because that's their job...that's what they do), NOBODY that even half-heartedly follows pro football would be saying Sean Payton should be fired. If you are somehow trying to draw a comparison between your hypothetical and LSU fans and Less Miles, you have failed miserably.
Hmm, let's see...risky, yet aggressive moves to win the biggest game in football vs. "I don't know the game clock from my a-hole" against Ole fricking Miss.

bullshite. Payton led them to the franchise's first Super Bowl birth. If there were anyone that would want him fired after that, then they would be too stupid to be considered a Saints fan.

Please go play in a busy street for a while. This is a horrible post in so many ways.

And it proved to be the difference in the game. THE BIGGEST game of their season. And Manning is a hall of fame, pro bowl QB (some say the best of all time).
Blaming JLee and continuing to boo him, while we "settle" for the 112th ranked offense, is simply mind boggling for me.

I wouldn't either but you could compare Jim Caldwell's clock management approach to Les'.

Mike, comparing a single interception by a HOF QB and former Super Bowl MVP to a kid who grabbed the NCAA career record for pick 6's in 7 GAMES with no laurels under his belt is at best idiotic.
Someone do him a favor and delete this thread.....call it a mercy killing.

Did you notice how Peyton managed the clock at the end of the half? The Saints salvaged a field goal out of it. In the same situation, Miles has his head up his arse, and asks the State Trooper to watch the clock.
Why do the Rationalizers always point to other situations, such as the Mack Brown near-fiasco, as some sort of justification or explanation for Miles being a dumbass?

The outstanding offensive display against that power from the north, La Tech, was just like yesterdays game.

Uh...did you review my response to the OP? I'm not a Lee basher.
Read my post history. I don't boo Lee. Never have. Never will. But the OP is ridiculous. Putting Lee in the same sentence as Manning is credibility suicide.
And yes, someone needs to delete this thread, Charles.

The Colts ran the ball 3 times and got stuffed on 3rd and 1. This put the Saints in position to kick a field goal as the end of the half. How the hell is that good clock management?

Didn't JLee play an entire regular season game against a WAC team?
what were his stats?
the score?

I'm pretty sure he meant Payton...Sean Payton.
