My parents split up when I was 5. My mom was super-religious and she would never let me watch anything but on the weekends I would go to my dad's and he would take me to blockbuster and let me check out anything I wanted.

IT terrified me when I was a kid.

I had trouble sleeping for several months after. I had all kinds of fricked up nightmares after seeing that movie. I go back and look at it now and I don't see what the big deal was.

When I was about three the video for Thriller came out. It was a big deal and the family gathered around to watch it. When MJ turned into the werewolf and started chasing the girl that was pretty scary.

"it" had me til it turned out to be a fricking spider...then i just rolled my eyes and didn't care anymore...but i still hate/fear clowns.

i actually cried when i saw halloween. the scene near the end when the headstone is in the bed and the bodies start showing up.

i wish i hadn't become so desensitized though. nothing seems to scare me anymore.

I hated scary movies when I was a kid (I love them now).

IT was pretty freaky when I was little, but the scariest movie ever to me was Silver Bullet when I was a kid. That movie freaked me the frick out.

THIS. I was around 8 or 9 and everyone was laughing at the movie, but it really disturbed me, I didn't find anything funny about it. To this day I won't watch it.
