Free agent: Would he be a good pickup to replace Grant?

He's 31 and could be a good rotational player if the moneys right. He's said before that if he's not back with the Pats he'd like to come home to play for the Saints.

I was kidding about JG being 53, however I did think he was older than 31. So he'll be 32 next year. I really don't know enough about JG to say that he would be a good trade for Charles Grant.

Could happen. He has a house a couple down from Randall Gay. I know they are really close friends and last time I talked to Randall he introduced me to him and said he would consider an interest in playing here.

What's the deal with the no-cap year in 2010. I've heard that the teams making the playoffs aren't allowed to sign free agents, only retain their own guys.

Which would mean that J Green, old or not, would be a no go.

For every guy we lose, we can sign someone. But only for the same amount of money that we payed that guy that was let go the previous year.

Sucks for the top 8 teams, especially the top 4.

Im almost sure Peppers has an issue and its wanting to play in a 3-4 Defense and be more of a DeMarcus Ware type of defender.
