Oh, nice. I blame myself for being too young when Frasier came out. I might have liked it had I been in my 30s/40s at the time. Or not. Hated it, at any rate.

I nominate Elektra

Cleveland from Family Guy.

They should have gave the spinoff to Quagmire.

Cleveland Show started out horrible but has grown to be pretty decent, with the occasional really funny gag.

Who in their right mind thought Screech would be a good lead character to carry "SBTB: The New Class"?

Frasier

I could be wrong, but you seem to be the guy who repeatedly confuses his own ecclectic tastes with those of the majority.

Frasier was an extremely popular and multiple award winning show. The character underwent substantial changes and maturation from the previous show, Cheers.

Cheers was a classic comedy, but so was Frasier. You start a decent thread, but your very first and only example is simply ignorant.

You want a bad spin off? How about Joanie Loves Chachi?, or that black college girls spin-off show from The Cosby Show.

I guess the Michael Richards Show wasn't technically a spinoff, but he was playing Kramer again. That show was terrible.

Frasier made a few hundred million bucks.

Cleveland Show is absolutely horrible.

Joey was also horrible but with the $$ they made on Friends you can understand them giving it a shot.

Here's a few...showing my age a little.

Does anyone remember "After MASH"?

"Flo" from "Alice"

"Dirty Sally" from "Gunsmoke" Talk about a flop.

Frasier was a very funny show. It took a certain sense of humor to appreciate it though.

And it won Best Comedy five years in a row at the Emmys.

It is bad enough that you pick one of the most successful if not the most successful spin off of all time (at least in my lifetime), then you put a behind it and it really makes you seem ignorant.

Yes, you are allowed to have an opinion. And people who disagree with your opinion have they right to do so respectfully.

I'm going to go with The Tortelli's. It was a spinoff of Cheers using Carla's ex-husband.

Also, two shows that kept earlier show's going were Three's a Crowd and Golden Palace. The latter having a surprisingly good cast.
