Did I miss Danny Abramowicz? and I saw Ironhead in High School kill my HS in a state playoff game in Giants Stadium.

Abramowicz is a starting receiver opposite Lance Moore.

Ironhead was good. I considered him but my Tiger pride chose Hokie. Ironhead ahd some personal issue that hampered his development while Hokie and Buford for that matter got the most out of their abilities.

Erxleben was a great college player, but too inconsistent as a pro. He certainly proved he was not worthy of a first round pick.

It would be so special to win Sunday on behalf of all those who previously wore the black and gold during periods of futility and anonymity and for those loyal fans who never quit believing.

THIS IS OUR STATE
THIS IS OUR TOWN
THIS IS OUR TEAM
THIS IS OUR TIME

robert massie and brett maxie.

Two good defensive backs. Massie was very good, but seemed he was injured a lot.

MASSEY was injured a lot because they kept putting him back out there before he could get right if I remember correctly... After a couple 3 years he was traded to the Cardinals... and had a Pro Bowl season.

Great signature moment but Gilliam did not have the sustained excellence of Tyrone Hughes or Michael Lewis.

Archie Mannings W/L record is 35-91-3.

I would not put him at the top of the "Salute" list, especially given the fact that he's now Colts/Giants fan first and Saints THIRD.

Glad to see someone mention the older players..I still remember that 1967 team w/ Danny Abramowicz, Doug Atkins, Jim Taylor, Jake Kupp, Davy Whitsell, etc...

Ernie Banks is in the baseball Hall of Fame.

I guarantee you Archie pulls as hard for the Saints every Sunday as he does for the Giants and Colts. The only exception is when the Giants or Colts are on the opposite sideline. If that was not the case then he really would not belong in the Ring of Honor.

Doug Atkins and Jim Taylor belong in everyone's Hall of Fame for career accomplishments. Since they were only Saints for a year at the end of their careers it was difficult placing them on the all time squad.

Buford Jordan probably holds the Saints record for number of times cut and number of times re-signed.
