How? JDB graduated a year early and left for USC. He left early because his dad got canned. How is LSU responsible for this situation?

He must be talking about Abram.

As some of the posters have stated before, we have a great kicker in Wing IMO he is better just look at the youtube videos, Wing is a athlete that kicks he pulls off some amazing kicks. I think we should be happy with what we have and be happy another LA kid is going to a big school, looks good for our state.

No, not my logic. Evangel has sent as many top notch kids to Texas over the years than to LSU. Texas always does good with Evangel kids, or anyone else they recruit hard for that matter. You don't have to look any farther than this year to see that.

It also comes down to #'s. Texas offered 33, with Russ, and got 25 committments, thats over a 75% success rate. Which is unreal. The next closest team is Penn St which got like 22 out of 75 guys, for a 33% success rate.

Who Texas wants they get most of the time, and if they go after Rasco like they did Hicks, I think Rasco will end up a Longhorn, and Miles can do nothing but sit and watch.

22 of 25 commits are from Texas...Texas and Florida are both rich talent state so of course they'll get mostly 4*

True, but they don't miss out on many of the OOS kids they offer either. Reed from Tibby is the only one they lost out on. They got the best player out of Oklahoma and Ohio.

Regardless of the locale of the kids they offer, they usually get who they want, over 75% of the time anyway. If they want Rasco bad enough, and put on the full court press like they did Hicks, the will get him.

Florida offered over 130 kids to get their 25 committs, so Texas is much more resourceful and successful than Florida is.

What about this stat?
In 2006 Texas signed 25 kids, 9 were not on the sidelines for the NC game.

One Tx grad and coach I know hates the way they recruit.

Also DT Stevie Lee in the same class. I think they were all seniors the same year as Berlin.
