The 2010-2011 National Championship will be the Ohio State buckeyes. Im sorry , next season the SEC will be weak, it will be down other than Alabama. One thing I can trust is that LSU will lose games to inferior talent. The Big Ten next conference is going to be the top conference next season. Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State although they have to reload.

I dont think the SEC will be weak, I just think OHST will win it b/c there not gonna get to play a SEC team for it...it will be a rematch of the Rose bowl game this year....OH ST and Oregon...I think every SEC school may have two loses... Or hell even Boise ST or TCU could get in there besides Oregon...

Thats what will make me even more mad, its coming all the commentators saying were down, but I still think if you put an SEC school in there even with two loses the SEC school will win...

I don't see the next BCS champ as someone from the SEC. everyone has too much rebuilding to do

"and this coming from the BCS chokaholics"

Yup...and Ohio State's NCAA leading 8 BCS game appearances and (5-3) record in those games sure backs that ridiculous claim up. Hater!

...I agree with both of these. This is the way it is in college football.

I see reason for optimism. Our OL will be better (there's really no place to go but up) and with another year under his belt JJ will improve (and he was pretty good last year). Though we lost some at RB and WR the skill level of the back-ups should ensure there is little if any drop off. The D should be more comfortable going into a second year of Chavis system, so I doubt we see a drop off there. We are clearly capable of playing at the level needed... We just need a break or two, to avoid some boneheaded mistakes that cost us this year, and maybe get one freaking call from the refs against Bama...

and yet when it comes to the game that matters you cant win it....i was talking bout the last 2 NCs yall showed up at...and come to think of it whats your record in the last 4....i believe its 1-3...got blown out by Florida, beat up by LSU, choked away the game to texas, and beat a questionable oreagon team...if the SEC doesnt win it then it will be the Big 12 just because the Big 10 and Pac 10 are still too questionable to produce a national champion caliber team

And what's the Big 12's record in the past two BCSCG's, Einstein?

I fail to see what two games in 2006 and 2007 has to do with who will win the NCG in 2010. You know how many guys on next year's team played against Florida? ZERO. And only the seniors on next year's team played against LSU (and that's if they even got PT as freshman, which very few did, and if they did, it was in Special teams/backup roles).

To put it another way, UF's loss to Michigan in the Cap One has more relevance (which is still basically none) to next year than OSU's loss to UF, since at least some of UF's seniors were involved in that game, while none of them were in the OSU-UF game.

ok....again....im trying to point out that your buckeyes gameplan aint working out no more when they play good teams...the old 3 yards and a cloud of dust doesnt cut it anymore in the big games...and in the last two years the Big 12 kept it close unlike OSU...the Big 10 and Pac 10 are overrated confrences...the SEC and Big 12 are the top conferences and therefor i pick the school from those conferences...but def not the buckeyes unless they get with the times and open there offense up

Should top tier programs have to make last minute goal line stands to win games against marginal opponents?

Should top tier programs finish 112th in offense? Just think, another couple of plays and we may have finished in the top 100.

I have no idea how you can say, after the bowls, the Big 10's overrated, since it's constantly ripped on. And the Big 12's not a top conference. At least this past year, it wasn't. It was in 2008, and it might be this upcoming season, but it wasn't in 09.

How is the Big 12 better then the Big Ten again? What is this based on? I want to see FACTS. The last time i checked, the Big Ten went 2-0 in BCS bowl games this year and is (10-11) overall as a conference compared to the Big 12's (7-10). Thats 21 appearance for the Big Ten and 17 for the Big 12. I mean afterall, Oklahoma has faired soooooo well in BCS bowls...(2-5) losing 5 strait games. But hey, i guess that (2-5) record is better then a (5-3) record. Who are the real "chokaholics" again???? Sometimes the ignorance displayed on this board is comical.

But what if UA runs the table again? And beats OSU for the MNC. Luck? Or the power of the dark side?

It dosen't matter sho coaches LSU. Until we correct the obious bias in officiating in any game played in Alabama we don't stand a chance. Need to get the SEC offices the hell out of Ala.

I don't remember this much whining when you guys held a 5 game streak over us. I guess it's only when you start losing that the excuses come out...
