Why is it every single writer outside of Louisiana has either written or mentioned this? What makes them think that this is true? Couldn't you just as easily say they still lose? I mean I know they outgained us, but that doesn't mean they would have outscored us. So where does this assumption come from?

If Drew Brees is as accurate as he normally is, the Saints score at least 3 more TDs.

If If If....

Probably true. But the fact is they did and the Saints didn't (other than the muffed punt).

Yep. We could play this game all day.

The point is you get 60 minutes to play the game. what happens in those 60 minutes is the game. What happened Sunday is the result of the game.

Let's let this idea die in peace.

This along with us recovering more than 3 of the 6 fumbles, especially the first one, becomes a huge blowout.

yeah i think turnovers played a huge role.

i think penalties did not. that's what i'm hearing more of, whining about the refs. refer to trent dilfer's take on cowherd. he got it right.

I guess the next assumption everyone will make is we will be screwed since the Colts won't turn it over? Why not just say the Saints were the better team. Not the better team lost.

This has been Saints football this yr......make the other team turn it over because we are usually overmatched in the fron 7.

Reporters need to give the Saints credit for the way they have deliberatly turned opponents over.

If Miami doesn't throw two picks and fumble once, then they beat us in week 7. If Meachem doesn't make the strip and score, we don't beat the Redskins. This is why we play the game so noone can say what if. We played the game and we won. What if Colt McCoy didn't get hurt? He did, they played the game, get over it.

When people make these statements what they're saying is if the game had been completely different the losing team could have won. Okay but that could be said about virtually every game ever played. If Jets had scored on every possession in the AFC championship game they would have won. Its really foolish to make such statements because the game played out one way and one way only.

Do you mean if the Saint's don't force turnovers......

But ya know what, it matters not one bit. The Saints are going to the Super Bowl however you slice it.

The kick from ground zero

more fun

Of course it's legal. It's the whole defensive philosophy of the Saints.
