Or he is foolish to stay at a place where the fans hate him and he will get no playing time.

His lack of "quit" will serve him well in life even if it doing something other than football.

And, any fan who can "hate" a kid showing such MANhood at such an age really show their immaturity. I can only hope that when my son is older, he knows as much about being a MAN as this kid.

I don't know why fans hate him. He had a less than stellar year and people clamored for JJ. JJ has the same this year and people start hyping CG, but still people on here feel the need to bash kids that not only gave their all on the field as young men, but still remain loyal to the university. More than some people on here have been...

Also, i'd say he has as good a chance as anyone to win the QB spot. JJ goes into spring as #1 but it's not like he's cemented his place on the depth chart.

Wow ... surprise, surprise. The first response to what everyone should agree to be a very positive post is a negative swipe at J.Lee. The immaturity of "fans" on this site is sickening.

Any other "fans" want to show their arse in this post?

Who in their right mind would not admire Lee for staying! Except some fool like you. What fine character this young man has. Kudos also have to go to parents. it is obvious they are outstanding role models.

I am a fan and have never hated an LSU player. The people who you are referring to are not fans so what is your point?

I've always liked Lee. He is tough and doesn't pass blame for anything. He wasn't ready to start when he was thrown in there and he made the same kind of mistakes that unprepared quarterbacks make.

Really, Lee's story should be a cautionary tale to those high school kids who want to start somewhere right away. It really is a rare kid who can start right away and not suffer for it. Had Lee had another year to learn the system, he would have had a better time of it. Now that he's had a year of watching the game and seeing the system, I wouldn't hesitate to give him the ball.
