How confident are you guys that, if the game comes down to a field goal, he makes it?

I wonder if he's related to Nina.

I thought one of the biggest plays last Saturday was him kicking the 43 yd FG. Hopefully that will give him enough confidence if he does have to kick a game-winning FG. Right now, I have about 90% confidence in him.

He's missed one extra point, one fairly long 50+ yarder, and the game loser against Tampa. He's 22-24 for his career. He is fairly untested over 50 yards, but until he blows another one when the pressure's on, I think people are making too much out of the one miss and not enough of the 22 makes.

The angle of his extra points scare me to death.

Hair's width from missing or being blocked.

I was thinking the same thing during the Arizona game but he drilled the FG straight through.

I'm confident in him. Just gotta kick it, not expecting a "freeze" and if they freeze you, you get a second chance. But don't rely on one.

I'm probably 90% confident he makes it from under 40.

He is, honestly, the only thing about this game that worries me. I hope and pray that it dosen't come down to him hitting a FG under pressure to win this game.

That's weird that you sweat more during an extra point than a field goal, but I do.
This game will kill me if it comes down to that to tie or win at the end of regulation.

Great bump.

Not as good as bumping Nina Hartley, but still...

I really think that Tampa miss helped him. I think it made him realize what he did wrong under pressure and that he rushed himself. It sucked at the time, but Sunday made everyone forget about that Tampa miss.

A lot more confident now. The mental aspect for Ks is huge. Trust me, these guys make knock it in 95% from 40 yds (and in) in practice, but the games add the pressure factor. Once a kicker feels confident he can make that big kick, IMO he knows he can do it again.

The guy didn't choke in one of the biggest games in Saints history. He has earned my confidence.
