2006: gets hurt, UT doesn't make the big12 title game as a result
2007: gets hurt (at least according to UT fans), UT doesn't make the big12 title game as a result
2009: gets hurt in the national title game

is this going to be his legacy?

I think so.
If what I know about the situation is right, then he should have made an effort last night.

What do you know?

That wasn't even a big hit.

Think it was really his decision to go back into the game?

His and his family's, I would think.

IMO there's no way Mack Brown says no if Colt wants to give it a go when they were down by 18 coming out of half.

And all I know is what I saw and heard last night.

Was he ever shown trying to warm up and throw a few passes? That's not a loaded question, I just didn't watch every second.

he said his arm was completely numb so he obviously had a stinger. What was he supposed to do?

no, he said he had no feeling in his arm. I know everyone wants to make this into a macho thing, but if his arm is fricked up he could do more harm than good to the team if he keeps playing, see Favre and the 2008 Jets for example.

exactly

if he did have a stinger then his arm was useless until it wore off

i don't get people blaming colt for not playing

at the same time i don't get why mack didn't have gilbert take many more snaps this year

I think that's different b/c Favre wasn't backed up by an 18 year old with no post high-school experience.

no, he said he had not feeling in his arm.

ok, I missed that part.
Do "stingers" last awhile? I always thought that went away shortly (within a couple of hours, for sure).

Colt probably wanted to make a run at the heisman.

UT had beat plenty of teams pretty bad. Gilbert should've had way more than 26 attempts prior to the NC game.

i think sharod harris could have been sprinkled in for a spark

did anybody else notice saban was like a lithium zombie last night?

he didn't lose his shite after the kickoff by UT when nobody on bama went for the ball, and he wasn't happy after they won

To me his whole injury reeked of "gotta stay healthy for the draft" bull shite.

Is Adrian Peterson's legacy at Oklahoma only about injuries?

He was injured 2/3 of his career.

if Colt becomes one of the top 2 players at his position in the NFL, then that would be different.
