improve his draft stock tonight with his performance or are people going to write it off as "he played Cincy"?

1st round pick by Urban Meyer at Jacksonville

He certainly didn't hurt it.
Truthfully, Tebow's "stock" is as high as someone is willing to take a chance on him. He really could go as high as the first round or as late as the second day depending on how much someone falls in love with him.
One thing about Tim is you know he's going to work hard to improve and is going to have a chip on his shoulder, but how much does that outweigh his deficiencies?

That performance doesn't change the basic deficiencies in his game. His draft stock didn't change at all.

i do think he helped. He does have a bad throwing motion and he isn't the most accurate qb yet he performed very well. I think if he performed badly their would be no question it would have hurt his status.

College production was never the question with Tebow. He had guys running wide fricking open the entire gme.
The issue is with his motion and one game isn't going to change that

The thing about tonight's game is that he didn't throw as many ducks and wobblers as he usually does and he was definitely throwing with some zip.
So the two things that he needs to fix are the mechanics and taking snaps under center. Two things that can certainly be thought. Depends if any teams have the luxury to allow him to sit for a couple of years to learn.

If Pat White can get snaps every week, Tebow can do the same.

A guy with 145 career touchdowns in college doesn't have to do much else to improve his draft stock.

does Tim participate in those crazy post season Senior drills on ESPN?

Having a throwing motion that doesn't suck might help a bit

Colt had about 120. Ask him how the NFL is going for him.
Having a quick release and taking snaps under center would be a start for Tebow

I think what people don't understand is that it is not like someone is going to draft him and have him start from day one. He'll have 2-3 years to get ready.

Hi, my name is the Jacksonville Jaguars. I can't sell out games despite being in the playoff hunt. 3/4ths of the people in my area would kill their own child if Tim Tebow asked them. I would like Tim Tebow to be my QB next year.

he's had 4 years to fix his motion at UF and hasn't worked on it at all

Doesn't mean he'd be their starting quarterback from day one.

Yes, yes actually it would. Sitting Tim Tebow on the bench for 3 years isn't going to work.

Just because he won't start day one doesn't mean he won't play :wildcat:
