BP said there was substance to the rumors when it wasn't confirmed that Chavis-to-Georgia had any credence at all. He said there was a "good chance" Chavis was gone.
I'd say the way it played out there was indeed a "good chance" Chavis could have left for UGA.

Word on here was he wanted to be closer to his family, but $500 too $600 made him change his mind? Sounds like he played LSU.

Unbelievable. The people in charge of football hiring at LSU have to be running the most bush league organization in all of college football. If we're paying that kind of money, at least find someone worth it. I miss you Mark Emmert.

Yup. And you can bet the house that the word "buyout" was the most tossed around term in the newest negotiations. Chavis is no clown...prolly the best coaching mind on this staff. He sees the writing on the wall. As this program continues to decline, he's thinking he's got one more year he can bank on...after that heads are rolling, and the coordinators will be the first to go.

Ignignot, you are one dumbfricker aren't you? Everything BP said was actually right. Chavis only came back because LSU upped the ante. Not much he can do if Miles and the Admins are stupid enough to give a guy a $200k/year raise and an extra year (the likely deal).
