Nike Pro Combat's

I like Miami uni's

I'll admit to being an old fogey, but why are those gawdaweful uniforms called Pro Combat?

If you saw the C1B commercial, all of LSU's highlights were in their combat uni's. does that mean they're wearing them??? i guess we'll find out soon enough.

each team is only wearing them oncet his year as a marketing move by nike, if u notice each opposing team was sponsored by adidas. It was miami's first time wearing them

It was Miami's second time to wear them.

Oklahoma wore them against Texas Tech (Under Armour) and Virginia Tech wore them against Maryland (Under Armour). On a side note, the founder of Under Armour is a grad of Maryland.

A Nike School can get any uniform they want as many times as they want. The Pro Combat gear was a marketing agreement by Nike and the school. If the school wants any kind of change, or wants to use a certain uniform multiple times, Nike will not turn them down.

Miami is a school that is not hung up on tradition as far as the uniform. They actually use this , like Oregon, as a recruiting tool. Different strokes for different folks.

I do get a kick out of the old school LSU fans who say you DON'T mess with tradition.......despite the fact that Miami has more NC's than most.

Tradition does not cause NCs. Does it correlate to NCs? Maybe, but you have to win one championship before you win multiple championships as it has to start somewhere.

I'm all for wearing them again. I like that gold better than the yellow we wear
