Saturday Night Live...Should be Canceled?

Had this debate with a friend the other night. The show, I believe, has lost its soul and flavor. I've tuned in for three consecutive weeks, via TIVO mind you...I still can't forget how horrible this show has become. This past week was the worst.
1. There was something about the Tizzle Wizzle Game with Franco. I suppose I would have to be on acid to understand this. It was just disturbing.
2. WTF is Gilly. I'm not understanding the reference here. Completely unfunny. I can't figure what this is about. Dennis the Menace?
3. Whats up with that. Alright, I actually laughed this past week because they brought out Stockton and the guy in the track suit. Random shite.
Maybe someone enjoys these sketches but I don't understand them. I thought it was funnier when they ran Palin through the grinder ever episode.

The only good skit that I can remember recently is the China-Obama press conference. That was comedy gold. I was surprised that they went after Obama so hard.

This was actually funny IMO.
The rest of the show was awful.

The skits all start off strong but have no punchline. Like the writers just dont know how to end them. New writers would be good I think. And I'm tired of some cast members. None are memorable and some are just boring.

This is one of the funniest skits to ever be on SNL. So, put a cork in it.

I haven't seen this week's yet, but I really like Gilly usually when they have it.

This was a great skit in my opinion. It made fun of Yo Gabba Gabba on Nickelodeon, and I thought it was totally on point. However, much like their skit that made fun of the Insane Clown Posse, I don't think a lot of people understood it because they targeted something that isn't very famous.
And fwiw, Kenan is one of the worst cast members I have ever seen.

what snl did with the 2000 presidential election was awesome and definitely my favorite. the cast back then was gold.

SNL sucks more than ever right now. It was great in the late 70s and through most of the 80s. It was reborn through 93-96. Andy and a few others have kept it fresh for a while, but the last 3 or 4 years have sucked so damn bad...
