I have a good client in MO, who has a freezer full of venison. Any suggestions on what I could send to him to add some flavor/kick to the way he cooks it? Any gift basket ideas, etc. and where to buy?? Thanks to all, and Merry Christmas!

Not what you are asking for but I bet he would love John Folse's book, "after the Hunt"

A Cajun Injector maybe? Basic cajun seasoning, but he may be able to find that. I like the cookbook idea.
For LA gift baskets that aren't centered around deer meat, I usually include:
--Bergeron pecans (halves & candied)
--local pepper jelly from one of the produce markets in town
--Louisiana crab boil
--Oak Grove jambalaya or dirty rice mix

The Spice House has some great gift boxes that you can order online. Scroll down on that link to see what they offer.
When I lived in the Chicago area, I'd frequently shop there, and it's one of my favorite specialty stores. Alton Brown swears by the place.

Awesome gift! He would love this book-I got it last Christmas and couldn't put it down.
