Big 10, poaching teams and the trickle down effect

Ok. Let's say the Big 10 poaches Missouri from the Big 12. That leaves the Big 12 with 11 teams. The conference will have to find another member or lose their championship game.
A logical choice for the Big 12 would be Arkansas. So the SEC loses a team and will have to find one to fill the Hogs spot in the West. Not sure what team that would be.
The question is: can this all happen at the same time? Meaning can Missouri, Arkansas and whoever would join the SEC all change conferences at the same time? Is it possible to have all the conferences work together so that there is not a year or two without a Big 12 championship game or an SEC championship game?
I'm sure the NCAA will get involved on some level, but it just seems like a lot of variables to ensure there is no disruption.

You're getting way ahead of yourself.
Arkansas would not leave the SEC. There is way too much money involved.
The Big 12 would likely add Utah, BYU or TCU.

This is why I want the Big10 to add Mizzou, the ripple effect would be very entertaining

Don't be so sure. Arkansas folks have been talking about this for nearly a decade. Getting back to their traditional opponents - the old SWC tie.

When the ACC expanded, taking teams from the Big East, causing them to take teams from CUSA, causing them to take teams from the MAC and WAC, that all happened at the same time.

If not Arkansas, BYU would be the best choice.

sec should swoop TCU, opens up texas, big games at death star and would be good for academics .

If the Big XII added TCU what division would they play in? I doubt it would be the north.
Maybe the Big XII could grab Boise? They always bitch about teams not playing them so they should be man enough to accept. Although, I don't know how they'd fit academically.

Maybe La Tech, you know how much better they are then other mid major Louisiana teams. The SEC should definitely add this legit football program.

I really doubt the Big XII would add TCU. There are already four Big XII teams in the state of Texas, and those four teams (along with OU who heavily recruits Texas) would be strongly against having another Big XII team recruiting the same kids.

Va Tech? they would love to be in the SEC.

I'd like to see the Big10 pick up Mizz, then the Big12 get Arky, then the SEC get Georgia Tech back

I really hope this happens. Nothing against Arkansas, but they would fit in much better there. The OK teams would be natural rivals and they could play all the Tx teams again. It's just weird seeing them play teams like Auburn and Florida.

How many old SWC teams are in the Big XII?
Texas, A&M, Tech and Baylor. 3 of these teams hardly qualify as traditional opponents for Arky.
They ain't leaving the SEC.
If Mizzou leaves to go to the Big Ten, the Big XII will look to add: TCU, BYU or Utah, IMO.

What else does Boise offer other than a pretty good FB team?

Arkansas would probably dominate the Big XII north
