Jarett Lee is not finished

If anybody thinks this man is going to go quietly into the night you better remove your blindfold. This kid set records in Texas 5-A football and has draw comparisons to Brett Favre. He was dealt 2-7 off suit last year and than thrown into a hornets nest against an under rated Tech defense. I expect him to bounce back next year and give Jefferson and Garret all they can handle, eventually beating them out by the time we roll into the Georgia Dome. He will have a stellar remaining 2 years, silence all his critics, win over Tiger Nation and leave behind a legacy that we can all draw from. Ya'll can throw whatever stones you deem fit, but I will have the last laugh when Mr. Lee is the focus of an ESPN special titled "the comeback kid" sitting in a room with Erin Andrews hanging onto his every word. Keep the faith baby!!!!!!

Why wouldn't he transfer? LSU fans hate him, hes stuck in a option based system, and he won't play.

Maybe the Saints can get Aaron Brooks back. They didn't allow him enough time to develop.

FWIW I was sitting midfiled behind LSU bench for ark game.
To say that JL looked like he wanted to be there might be the biggest hoax every constreued.
TC McCartny looked more involved in what was happening than JL.

Tator, while I share your complimentary enthusiasm re Lee, I believe he will transfer.
I believe he was handled wrong and some internal team dynamics (I'll leave it at that) on last year's team made succeeding very difficult for him. Also, I believe he was not handled w/ the kid gloves that JJ has been. But that's all water under the bridge.
At this point his best opportunity would be to transfer to a good Div 1 AA program, start for 2 years and get drafted by NFL.
Look for RP to not only get drafted but to raise his stock significantly during the combines.

Unfortunatly my user name is going to be his legacy here at LSU. It should be in his best interests to transfer to salvage his college career

JL wasn't the only one in the stadium that wanted out that's for sure!

There is not much doubt that Jarrett Lee has the physical tools to be a successful quarterback. He probably has the best opportunity of any of the quarterbacks on LSU's roster to succeed in the NFL. He definitely has the arm for it.
Bottom line is that he does not fit into LSU's system, He would fit better in a pro-style offense. He has that kind of arm.
The best thing he can do is to transfer to another school and prove what he can do.
I don't think he will get that chance at LSU.

he has no reason to stay at lsu, after last year and the tech game this year it will be a two man race for qb in the spring
