Has anyone eaten at the Chinese restaurant on Coursey...

that's in the same strip center as Casa Lavida. I heard it was pretty decent considering it's another one of those picture menu joints. Can anyone confirm that this place is pretty good?

China House?...for a while the "use" was burnt out on the sign and it read "China Ho". Its decent.

I ate there last week, not bad, not great. Careful if you order the lo mein lunch, they will actually serve it over rice. So you have a pile noodles sitting on a pile of white rice. Crazy.

I've experienced some inconsistencies, but still frequent the place because of proximity.

i went to China House One yesterday and got the mandarin chicken. it was very very nasty. if the place is hit or miss, i definitely hit it on a miss day...i'm sticking to Oriental Pearl for this side of town.

Talk about inconsistant, the last time I ate ate the OP I didn't eat any Chinese for 6 months, I was that disgusted. Face it, we do not have an everyday good Chinese restaurant in BR.

Try the China One in the new strip mall on Airline and Bluebonnet and report back.

Unfortunately that's probably true now that the China Express on Coursey is under new shitty ownership.
Looks like I need to plan a trip to Vegas to get some good Chinese food.

if it's another one of those pic menu places that pop up overnight in these strip centers than i have my doubts. but i'll give it a shot, you never know.
