Don't Discount Vegas (LSU dog)

LSU is a three point underdog.
While Las Vegas is not always right, over time, their lines are consistently correct. That's why they make money.
There is a reason that Penn State is favored. It's funny to me to read about the overconfidence on this board.
I'm not saying LSU won't win, I'm just saying that Penn State is hardly a given. In fact, the UNBAISED people in the know seem to think that Penn State is the better team.
While Las Vegas is not always right, over time, their lines are consistently correct. That's why they make money.

We barely beat La Tech, I can understand why we are an underdog against a top 12 taem.
We dominated no one in my opinion - Auburn was close.

Las Vegas line is as much psychology as anything else. They make money by keeping everyone betting and they make it from the "JUICE" .
The line moves as people bet...and this happens while neither team gets better or worse.

It's just funny to me that everyone is predicting a 10, 20, 30+ point victory and yet the people who are unbaised and paid to determine these things don't even have us as a favorite.

Penn State has won 50 games in the last 5 years. I'm just saying...

You have absolutely no idea how vegas lines work, do you? Do you believe Vegas sets and fixes a line at what they think one team is going to win by? Are you that stupid?
They initially set a line at what they think will get half the action on one side and half on the other. They adjust the line accordingly to keep that in balance. They are not trying to predict the score inasmuch as they are trying to predict and adjust to the betting public.
If I go bet $10 million on LSU right now, you would see 'Vegas' crushing that 3 point spread away in a heartbeat.

We were more than 3 pts dogs to GT last year, Dogs v the U as well.
Probably only game we were favored in was Notre Shame.
