Has Bama ever beaten Texas ? I heard they have lost every game against the Horns ??

The Longhorns have a 7-0-1 record against the Tide.

Irrelevant. History means nothing when the ball is kicked off.

This has already been discussed ad nauseum in this thread

But I'll reiterate the point for you, anyway...

Your recruiting argument is total BS.

Saban went 7-6 in his first year at Bama. Meanwhile, LSU won the BCS title in NOLA (with some of Saban's recruits). The following spring, Bama landed the #1 recruiting class in the nation. Here's the proof. A year and a half later, they're 13-0 and playing for the BCS title.

Perhaps you should just consider that Saban is a better recruiter than Miles and whether Bama goes 7-6 or 13-0, Saban's still going to outrecruit Miles. Unless Bama loses 70-0 to Texas, a Bama loss is unlikely to affect recruiting because Saban will still be a better recruiter than Miles. PERIOD.

I know this logic confounds you and certain other rantards, but think it over and don't hurt yourself.

I'm rooting for Texas. Normally I always root for the sec team. But after the refs protected Bama and Florida all year I just can't do it. And it has nothing to do with saban. I'm not a saban hater.

Here's my thoughts from a previous thread. I think it sums up my feelings well...

quote:

I am hoping that virtually every member of both teams contracts the stomach flu just before the game, and that by the end of the game the field is covered in vomit... Come to think of it, even if they don't get stomach flu the field will still be covered with vomit... So I guess I'm good.
