Yesterday on a Tiger Talk Show in Alexandria, Mike Scarborough said that he heard Cooper and Chavis weren't getting along and that he didnt know if Cooper would be back next year.

Anyone know more about this?

Is this a real possibility? If so could Tenuta be gotten from ND now?

The Tenuta ship has sailed and sunken.

Cooper probably doesn't like Chavis' insistence on rushing only 3 linemen on anything longer than 3rd and 5.

chavis's lack of pressure on the qb has hung cooper's DBs out to dry

Chavis was a safe hire for Miles. But, it wouldn't hurt my feeling is he goes with Phil somewhere.
While the D was better, it was better based on the crap we had in 08. I still didn't find that our D was anything better than avg at best. We gave up way too many drives this year.

Arky's last drive was ridiculous. Converted 3rd and 10, 3rd and longer than 10 and a 4th down all with 3 or 4 linemen rushing.

We are ranked 29th in total defense and 12th in scoring defense. That's better than average. That's also despite an inept offense that put the defense on the field more than they should've been.

Not by LSU standards it isnt. If we were to grade Chavis on his first year here, the best grade he could get if we are generous would be a B-

Aren't grades of "C" deemed average? So, by your B- it was above average.

I don't know how many more years of third and chavis I can take. Our secondary was awesome this year although we played 10 yards off the LOS when it was 2nd and 4 or 3rd and 3. I couldn't understand that to save my life this year when we had PP who can man up on anyone.
