1. Tiger stadium is a pit. The only saving grace of the stadium are the upper deck expansions. The lower bowl was built on dorm buildings that are now in disrepair and abandoned. Anyone who complains about WMS needs to go to Baton Rouge.
2. Whoever is in charge of pregame knows what they are doing. When the announcer said, "It's Saturday night in Death Valley" and fireworks went off, the place went nuts. They know how to steadily work the crowd into a frenzy right up to kickoff without any energy killing announcements of "Honorary Team Captain" or moments of awkward silence. Also, the video of Garth Brooks "Baton Rouge" was a nice touch that got the crowd going.
3. I was expecting the crowd to be dispassionate after the "spike" incident last week, but the team walk and band parade down the street in front of the stadium was well attended and enthusiastic. However, I never felt that the place lived up to the "intimidating" reputation it has developed over the years.

With respect, I don't give a hoot about what someone from Arkansas thinks about gameday at LSU.

That guy needs to go to the Bama or UF game one year and see. The game isn't "off the charts" for the very same reason they've kept LSU playing WMS. Too many students are gone for the break to make a good showing.

Hog Fans: LSU has plans to fix up the windows on the old dorm rooms. They are abandoned for a reason-asbestos. It would be very expensive to take it out.
Comparing TS to War mem. stad. is rediculous.
And, the atmosphere in TS has never been great vs Arky because so many students are gone and frankly, LSU fans don't really get up for Arky - especially this year - most LSU fans view Arky football with the same enthusiasm as a Miss. State.

With all due respect, others may.

Here's an LSU Fans take on the Arkansas Football Program. It's mediocre at best. As far as the LSU/Ark game in Little Rock, I've heard it's by far the worst trip in the SEC (hence why it's one of the only two remaining venues I've yet to visit).

This guy is a retard

2) The reaction of everyone when Chad Jones speared Adams (and yes...he intentionally speared him...you can see him lower his helmet at the last second...which anyone who has EVER played football knows that you lead with your facemask...you're taught that from day one). People around me started yelling at me and talking trash to me. No one seemed to care that two young men with promising futures could have been crippled by a blatant cheap shot by one of their beloved tigers!

I have heard the Razorbacks stadium and facilities are really really nice..a hidden jewel of the SEC...with that said...
Arkansas is not considered a big rival for LSU, nor was it really a big game for LSU...maybe for Les Miles, but not for LSU..
Ark fans need to attend a game hosting UF on game day if they want to experience TS at night properly..

Arky fans like their Stadiums like they like their Wal Marts.....new and shiny.
PS...I truly have never heard men talk about bathrooms so much....WTH is that?

Yeah...that's because Arkansas was it town. FWIW, LA Tech, USL and Tulane fans all feel the same way...

After going to Athens and Bama, I agree. The truth hurts.TS is a crap hole. Can we at least fix the windows on the North Side? That is a disgrace.

Have you seen War Memorial?

Shouldn't it be more important to us that our stadium is more prettier than others?
I like the old, cold, dark feeling of the interior of Tiger Stadium.

Yeah, winning 3 SEC Championships and 2 BCS titles in the last decade screams mediocrity. Arkansas once had basketball, but that's even a joke. Arkansas baseball is decent but it's obviously not on the same level as LSU. So yes, LSU athletics > Arkansas athletics.

Good greif...when you spear someone, don;t you lead with the crown of your head? I get that Jones hit a guy who was "defenseless" and that their helmets touched...but there is no way you can look at the film of that hit and suggest he "speared" him. Had Jones speared him, Adams would be being buried today...

We do need to fix those windows....what is in the old dorms? Just wasted space?
