Tiger stadium is a pit. Anyone who complains about WMS needs to go to Baton Rouge.
WMS is a shite hole.
Hog fan' brains are pickled from inhaling the rich aroma and toxins produced by all that chicken crap from Tysons.

Most of us Hogs Fans agree about WMS....
I really wish they would move the LSU game to Fayetteville.... its a lot closer to my house and tons nicer.

Must have something to do with the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Any Tiger fan that argues with this hasn't been around the last 2 years. Great fans don't need a top 10 team to get them excited. They would yell, scream, and stay to the end (especially when the outcome is still in doubt) no matter who the opponent. Until the fans realize that leaving at half-time is not acceptable, the fanbase will be considered only a big game crowd.
This.
UF fans stayed til the end when they were hammering College of Charleston or whoever the rent-a-win was.
We have some delusional/in denial people on this board regarding our spoiled-arse, fairweather fan base.
Hey, no problem. Deny and defend the wine and brie crowd all you want.
Just don't spout this bullshite that TS has ALWAYS been this way.
Some of us know better.
What a weak comeback that when a visiting fan rightly observes that TS ain't all that intimidating these days to say "Oh, it is for the BIG games."

Meh, it was Thanksgiving weekend... and we all booed at Les whenever he was shown on the scoreboard. Glad the Arky fans came though, they weren't a bunch of assholes like the UF fans tend to be.

Hog Fans: LSU has plans to fix up the windows on the old dorm rooms. They are abandoned for a reason-asbestos. It would be very expensive to take it out.
From a long term perspective... Even if you have to do it in sections would be OK. It would be an awesome place for offices or condos or even concessions, gift shops or a small strip mall.

I for one hope we never patch, polish, or fix a thing with TS. Just as Fenway Park is the way baseball stadiums ought to be; TS is as Football Stadiums ought to be.

And finally id like to say that our treatment by their fans couldve been better and couldve been worse. I was heckled by a ten year old the entire game, had an old lady cussing me to sit down, and was called tiger bait by a 4 year old...
Someone is bring up their 4 year old right!

Hey, don't take that personally. They cuss and yell at LSU fans to sit down too.

I live in Baton Rouge and have been all over Tiger Stadium except for the new upper decks. It always is a fun trip into Tiger Stadium. Of course, you get the repeative "Tiger bait" which gets old on the second one you come across. Occasionally, you come across an experienced fan who will say "Glad you are here, I hope you have a fun game and enjoy Baton Rouge."
Like all gamedays, some peoples celebrations are more to my liking than others. I like a family gameday atmosphere throwing the ball around with the kids, BBQ, good weather, inviting friends and opposing fans to talk with and enjoy watching the satellite.
Baton Rouge has great food and you love the smell of great cooking at LSU tailgates. Most people are friendly.
I have had bad and good experiences going to games at LSU. It is my experience if you are coming as an opposing fan, it is better to stay on the levee lots side of the stadium. I have always enjoyed my time in Tiger stadium. For an opposing fan, it can be hard to get past the look of the stadium from the outside, and recognize that Tiger fans love it for the history it represents to them.

I grew up in an Arkansas/LSU split family. Still that way to this day. Have been to TS many times and frankly never cared what the exterior looked like. It was always the experience inside. Its not as intimidating as it was a couple decades ago on a regular gameday, not like it is against a UF or Bama. For some reason the Arkansas game just never has registered as a big game for LSU fans and beside it being the last regular season game isn't always supported well. Seems to me it would be.
Move the game to earlier on the schedule and play the Arky home games in Fayetteville, and you add value to the game IMO. Will not happen because its "rivalry week. It never will be a true rivalry however, since the two schools SEC ties are less than 20 years old and Arkansas wasn't a big rival before.
