Bad move by Memphis

But great news for LSU, if he stays. Recruiter of the Year (by Rivals.com) two of last three years, and is a great coach. However, I'm sure he'd like to get a head coach job. I mean, it's not like LSU would ever hire him (and we all know why)...

As SFP correctly stated in another thread, if Porter ever wants to be more than a RB coach(and don't give me that Assistant HC crap), then he needs to leave LSU.

After Malveto, LSU isn't promoting a position coach to coordinator anytime soon.

Porter needs to prove himself as a coordinator at a mid-major or lower level BCS school first.
