Honestly, he would have to win the SEC West and beat Bama doing it.

blow out Arkansas, blow out bowl opponent, good clock management, fire Crowton/Stud (at least). Then get to the SECCG next year.

Winning...but he's been exposed. I don't think it's possible for Les. Nationally he has taken a major, major hit.

Throw in actually beating alabama for a change and this might get me back on board

He is not going to win me back. No way. Not that I wouldn't give him the chance, but he is not capable of doing what would be needed. Miles is a great man, loyal to this players, a good mentor. But he's not a good game day strategists, and that's what he needs to be if he is ever going to truly be an elite coach.

Nothing short of the No. 1 recruiting class after firing his O.C. and O.L. coaches. Then he has to go undefeated next season and win the BCS.......

It isn't going to happen!

He could get a degree online from the University of Phoenix with a major in "Clock Management."

win the SEC with a team that makes far fewer mistakes than this year's team made...

this is a pretty accurate account of what it would take.

he has the talent to do it this year and next.

can he execute and turn it around? firing crowton and turning it around after that is easy i think. winning the next two games with the shambles that the team is in right now? not so much.

I've been hard on Les and venting like crazy.

That said, he does seem to be a good guy. Met him at a charity funcion and had the chance to talk to him. Very humble and unassuming. Was complimentary to me and was not interesting in stroking his own ego. So, I have to admit I liked him as did my wife.

That said, Les is what I thought he was. That is an average Big 12 Coach that was in over his head in the SEC. His resume did not warrant the recieving an interview much less the job offer.

For that matter, Gary Crowton's resume was more impressive than LM's.

From year one, the ship was run much much looser. Details were not handled and the level of confusion was greater.

Miles had 3 good years w/ Saban coached talent and then had the good fortune of playing OSU in the title game.

Beanie Wells was running great in that game but Vest got away from the run game early and LSU rolled.

I was there and it was one of the most exciting things I've ever witnessed.

So, to Les I would congratulate him on the success and especially the champoinship.

But, then I can't see a solution that gets Les out of this situation. This program took a major hit.

Gordy said it best last night, when he said that he can't see how Les can bounce back from that post game interview. It would follow him for his career and is forever etched on people's minds.

All of you saying "nothing" are being REALLY irrational right now. If the final two games of the year are blowout wins, replacements are found and put in place for coaches whose jobs need replacing to fix the problem, LSU lands a solid recruiting class, and LSU ends up winning it all next year and shows NO flaws from the past 2+ years in doing so, you STILL won't begin to believe in Miles again?

That's just ridiculous, and you better damn well know it.

Nothing.

And saying nothing is not being irrational. There is NO EXCUSE for what happened last night in the final minute.

It truly is beyond me.

I have ZERO faith in this man as a football coach.

I have been a big supporter of his, but he has lost me.

I would respect him if he quit.
