Which is why if Rummel and Westgate both win (which I think they will), Westgate will be at home AGAIN!
Did rummel play home tonight? and do they play home again next week?

I dont think it matters unless the team has never had a home game. I dont really care though either way.

Rummel was at home tonight, and will host Hahnville next week, giving them 3 straight home games. So, if Westgate wins, they will host again in the semifinals thanks to their away game in round 1.

Gotta Love that home field clock operator

Damn, it would have been hilarious to see Central lose in the 2nd round with the way the bandwagon is packed.

also, the central game should not have been close. poor officiating alone, kept Ouachita in the game.

Westgate fans, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Refs helped Ouchita out tonight big time.

I guess we know what the excuse will be when Central loses

"uncatchable" does not exist in National Federation Football Rules book.
I didn't see the play but whether the ball was catchable or not does not affect the call. If the ball is in the air no contact can be made.

Really surprised by this score. Ouachita looked horrible against West Monroe. It was 43-12 and honestly wasn't as close as the score indicated. That's what happens in the playoffs though, some teams play over their head.

I was just furious at the refs at the end and was pissed standing right at the front of the endzone on the sidelines just for the heck of it with 1.6 seconds left and the need for a miracle. And wow, it happened. That was insane!
I thought I was just having a biased point of view at the refs, but I'm glad to come on here and see that everyone thinks the game was poorly officiated. The "uncatchable" pass interference, the Shedrick Davis touchdown right in front of us in the student section that got marked at the 2 yard line instead, and the facemask penalty on Ouchita's last drive when Central's defender just wrapped the guy up from behind are just a few of the terrible calls. Then the pass previous to the tip for the last TD could have been pass interference.
What a game. I knew it was going to be close, but didn't think it'd be like this.
ETA, those pointing out the "irony" of 1 second left on the clock...there was 9.7 seconds left before the first heave to the end zone. The pass was on a decent line, on target, leading a receiver right in the middle of the endzone. There was 1.6 seconds left for the final play.

My favorite thing about Central being halfway decent in football this year is that #1 it proves that some central high football fans exist. Whereas, in past seasons (read: 4 decades) we never knew this.
That's what I find hilarious.

The "uncatchable" pass interference
As already posted on here, no such rule in LA.

What I find more hilarious is the irony of Zachary fans talking about class. Just sayin'. rmc, you're little 100% anti-Central act is just getting old. You need to get over the butthurt.

What's the point of not having such thing as an "uncatchable" pass interference in the rule book? I mean, if the quarterback almost immediately chunks the ball out of bounds by a good 10 yards and the wide receiver gets tangled with a defender, there could legitimately be a pass interference on the play?
