Your best shot is to go LA FB Coaches Association
from there contact them and ask if they can link your information or could send an email for you.
They probably won't give out addresses.
[quoteSo you can play for Evangel/Curtis/any team in the Catholic League without paying tuition/attending the school?
[/quote]

The way I read it, they would have to follow the already existing attendance policies.

Only eligible at the schools in their attendance zones.

If they lived in Curtis /ECA attendance zone shouldn't they be eligible there too? Not just the public school?

The first 5+ QB's asked to play for LA rejected the invite

not trying to start an argument but who do you think were the 5 better QB's invited over Burch?

how is being in a weaker conference without a chamionship game going to help you get in to one of those top two spots?

it's worked pretty good for Ohio State the past decade

Coach Saban offered Jay on signing day of his Junior year.

Jay waited until the end of the recruiting process to commit and LSU no longer had room for another RB.

Jay went to A&M and shortly after they went to a 1-back system. He didn't fit their new system as well as other guys and so he went to SLU.

He was the conference player of the year while at SLU, which means he was a very good football player. And a great one for the Southland Conference.

Jay was one of the best football players I have ever coached. He was also one of the best individuals I have ever coached. He led our team to back-to-back state championships and was the most humble player we had.

In his junior year he rushed for over 1,000 yards. That's a good accomplishment for any RB in a season. It's even greater considered we gave equal carries to another RB. It's even more amazing that he actually ran for those 1,000 yards IN THE PLAY-OFFS ALONE!

Not many RB's can say they "ran wild" on John Curtis in the Superdome.

A great player and a great guy!

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The end...the whole point of the movie is the end.

What do you think? Is Nick Saban the Paul Crewe of LA?

I'm just saying is all but...Didn't Paul Crewe end up gaining the trust and confidence of his teammates and end up winning the big game, even earning the respect of his opponent?

Are you saying that Coach Saban is going to be the real winner in this scenario?
FYI- it's Northwestern(IL) of the Big 10

The coaches are a disgrace for this team.

The coaches selecting the all-state team did in fact select the best players nominated. Unfortunately for the players from District 1 no coach from the district showed up to nominate their players.
I was a voting coach. I was certainly ready to vote for several WM players.
However, none were nominated. I am sure it was an oversight by the district representative.

re: Louisiana Tech hires Sonny Dykes

I've had the chance to listen to Coach Dykes speak on several occasions and ask him questions about what they do on offense.

They will use the same passing concepts/plays that Texas Tech used but Coach Dykes admitted he has learned to always use your best players to determine the scope of the offense.

At Arizona they had one heckuva TE. They used a TE alot. Whereas, Texas Tech never uses a TE.

He will not do a thousand different things, but become really great on the things they have.

A lot of WR Screens, Quick Passing game, and they will probably, with the personnel left behind, be similar to Arizona by having a strong running game based of the Off-Tackle "Power" play.

Great hire by LA. Tech.

No I did not like his recruiting tactics and would not want him in P&G ever.

I guess I stand corrected.

I should now say several.

I guess I'm biased.
I've seen a couple of suggestions to hire a QB/RB coach.

Unless GT and Paul Johnson are hiring an offensive asst., you will not see a major NCAA football staff hire one man for that position.

The details involved with developing a QB are so numerous you would never want one man working with two positions like that.

Alot of spread teams have an Inside WRs coach AND an Outside WRs coach. That's TWO coaches just WRs!!

As for Major coming to LSU...we have no current openings. However, you would be hard-pressed to find a more respected young country in the country.

He could go into any HS coach in TX/LA and have instant credibility and trust!

We need to do some research on this. I bet LSU is the only team in the history of college football, (hell, all football), to every go into the victory formation on the 8 yard line when they are losing.

Everyone who doesn't know what the victory formation is needs to do some research.

The victory formation is when a qb takes a knee so the clock will continue to run and you don't have to risk a fumble. You also usually see a RB about 15-yds behind the QB.

I didn't see JJ take a knee. Did you?

The truth is the clock it play is not that big of a screw up on the coach's preparation, but player execution. They should have had time to get the pass off one second later and reach the endzone. The aftermath and confusion is a totally different thing.

What deserves criticism and has been, is the play sequence on the 1st-3rd down plays.

I didn't see the show, but Houston Nutt should have used that comment as a chance to educate the Ole Miss fans, not take a dig at Coach Miles. It shows less class than I thought he had.
"uncatchable" does not exist in National Federation Football Rules book.

I didn't see the play but whether the ball was catchable or not does not affect the call. If the ball is in the air no contact can be made.
