According to Times Pic, Farrer out for the year

and Garrett Green sprained an ankle.
Farrer's career is over, apparently is not eligible for any other redshirt or injury year.
I would think he would qualify for another year?

Sux. If true, he should qualify for a hardship medical redshirt.

The medical redshirt 6th year is tricky to get and usually requires you to have been injured for both years. I don't recall for sure, but I believe Farrer was redshirted originally so he could develop more -- not for an injury. He's likely done.

he def redshirted his first year (final 4 year). I'll get to the bottom of this one

yea he's def a legit guy. I've been close with him for like 4 years. even when he was starting he never let it get to his head

Even with the solid class coming in next year, it's always nice to have a veteran player to bring in off the bench.

sucks. hope somehow they can put some kind of appeal together to get him another year, we won't really need him next year but this kid has worked hard and deserves it. he would have played a significant role this year.
