Right now Cincy is ranked 3rd in the computer polls in front of Texas at 4th and TCU at 5th. I think its a given they will jump TCU with a win over Pitt, but will they jump Texas into the #2 spot after all is said and done and #1 or #2 is knocked out after the SECCG ?

Its all about the human polls because if Cincy keeps wining Texas wont jump them in the computer polls

There's no way Texas will be left out of the BCS championship a second year in a row if they win the rest of their games, especially to a non-bcs team. Someone would be assassinated.

Not a chance. Even if Cincy is one spot ahead in the computers, Texas will be 2 or 3 in both human polls. The human polls depend on total points as far as the BCS is concerned, and Texas will be way too far ahead of Cincy in the human polls for the computers to make a difference.

Last time I looked Cincinnati was a BCS team. If they beat Pitt I can see them moving to four. Now if Nebraska beats Texas (No way Jose) then it will be a fight between Fla/Bama loser, Bearcats and TCU.

assuming Bama and Fla don't lose rivalry games.

Heh, funny.

They have as much chance of making up the necessary ground in the Coaches and Harris Poll as the Browns winning the Super Bowl this year.

If Texas wins the big 12 and remains undefeated...no. Cincy can watch it on tv.
