agreed, although Curb, Six Feet Under, and Dexter should have been a little higher IMO.

Freaks and Geeks is very high at 4. Great show but it did only run for a short season and I have some qualms putting it above allot of those shows that were able to sustain themselves over multiple seasons. I have the same issue with Firefly at 16. In terms of Sci Fi series, no way that Lost should be ahead of BSG (which should be in the top 10 if not top 5). As for completeness, I do like the list but I am not so hot about having two Cartoon Network shows in the top 30. How many people here are really willing to say they are better than Supernatural, Life, Always Sunny, Burn Notice, Chuck, and South Park?

Edit: What I have seen:

1. The Wire
2. The Sopranos
4. Freaks And Geeks
6. Breaking Bad
8. Lost
9. Deadwood
10. The Shield
12. Battlestar Galactica
14. Futurama
15. Veronica Mars
16. Friday Night Lights
17. Firefly
22. Six Feet Under
25. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
27. Flight Of The Conchords
28. Eastbound & Down
30. The West Wing

Would be at the top of my own list, no question. Even given the many flaws, the show was consistently good and a true product of its own time.

guess I need to Netflix The Wire. I've heard next to nothing about it, and if it's above The Sopranos, AD, and Lost, then I suspect it'll give me a braingasm.

I am surprised that South Park missed the list.

And I am more than upset that CSI:Miami isn't on the list.

I have finally purchased the Wire. I have literally not watched a single scene of this show, but I have high hopes it will replace Homicide as my all time favorite show.

And I wou;d've had Six Feet Under and BSG higher. But their list was very good and perfectly defensable. SFU is a polarizing show.

I've never had HBO, and have only seen its program via DVDs of my siblings/friends

Yeah I don't have HBO or Showtime either so half these shows I don't know anything about. I'm sure they're good but I'm more of a movie watcher.

Tim and Eric on that list is a joke.

Having it above Venture Brothers is a sicker joke.

I was surprised that Venture Brothers and Futurama made the list but no South Park.

Maybe South Park did all the groundbreaking stuff back in the 90's.

Here is their list of albums of the decade if anyone is interested. Pretty good list I thought.

The ones I have watched are:

1. The Wire
2. Sopranos
8. LOST (should be #1 IMO)
10. The Shield
12. BSG (should be in the top-frackin-10)
14. Futurama
17. Firefly
19. Big Love
22. Six Feet Under

Where the hell are Southpark, Fringe, and Sons of Anarchy? If Firefly's single season can make it, those shoes (especially SP) should have listed higher.
