NOBODY said DICK Burleson ever attended Bama...
...just that he:
1) received $$$ from Bama Booster clubs,
2) good friend of "da bear" Bryant.
(also, born, raised, and currently lives in Bama)

oh my gawd-- another coverup press release by the SEC. Notice they did not address the fact of whether he is a Bama homer -- only that he did not graduate from there. So what? On his website and book/speaking-engagement promos he brags about his relationships with Bear Bryant and his pay-for speak at clubs in the area. It appears the site may have been taken down.

I figured they were going to hide behind the "he went to Georgia Tech" BS. Again Dandy Don didn't go to LSU. Put him in the replay booth. Idiots. If those other 2 people in the booth don't have any say, then get their arse out of the booth.

If dude takes money from boosters of ANY school, he shouldn't be allowed to officiate their games. That's a major conflict of interest.

I went to LSU for 10 yrs working on my degrees. My wife never attended a single class at LSU. She is a million times more biased for LSU than I ever could be. She would be a great video replay official.
