That was a perfect way of putting it about Dandy Don being in the replay booth or overseeing SEC officiating. That is essentially what the Gumps have with Burleson and some of the officiating crew.

I don't think they pay them or they have top secret meetings in Slive's basement, I just think it is an inherent bias due to the fact that the bulk of the refs and the structure is based in Alabama. The subconscious can have a powerful effect on calls even if a person thinks they are fair. If you were predisposed towards a team the old "inconclusive rule" could be used to rationalize anything on replay.

This is what we are fighting here, history has shown that Bama and the Barners clearly get the benefit of the doubt against LSU from the bulk of the refs and officiating structure.

I've said this before, it reminds me of getting in a fight with my younger sister growing up. When my dad got involved who do you think got the benefit of the doubt? That is how it is. To the refs, Alabama is LSU's lil sister.

i agree i dont think this is something slive told him to do but just plain bias by dick on his own. he is a human and has connections to alabama that can't be overlooked. He might be "high" character though i doubt it due to video evidence and his own friends post so far in this thread, but he is still human and has a bias.
