I haven't been on here that long but maybe these threads haven't been on here because noone in Shreveport has had much of a chance before, but now their allowing a vote which I think is cool for them to do.

We were never given the option to vote for it before. That's why it's important that we win these. Hopefully, they will get the message and we won't have to keep voting every time there's a conflict.

They've got too big a fan base to draw from and we still bitch and cry about Shreveport having Cowboys fans in it instead of doing what we can to increase our fan base.
Golden opportunity here to spit in the Cowboys eye and make New Orleans the hometown team in another city and take it away from the Cowboys and half this thread is whining about new fans not being real fans.
Every one of us was a "new fan" at some point. Would it be too much trouble to stop being douchebags and invite those that would like to come over to the damn party and make MORE SAINTS FANS?

yep- the more the merrier.
I also think that if you were EVER a Saints fan and became disenchanted (which is understandable these last 40 or so years) then you should come back. It's been a rough road being a Saints fan through the seasons we've had

The problem is the local east Texas paper ran the contest in the paper day yesterday.If you look at the comments there from there and south Arkansas.I posted it on nola.com yesterday and got a few votes. I also called the paper in New Orleans and left a message on a sports reporters voice mail. Probably won't work but what the hell.We need to go to the Eagles and Giants web pages.They hate Dallas as much as we do.
