Miles was satisfied with the response he received?

I have lost some respect for coach Miles. Stand up for your players. Take the fine. He is helping to sweep this shite under the rug. This insures that horrible calls will continue to happen. The easiest thing that anyone will ever do in their life is.... nothing. Coach Miles.... it's never to late to change your mind. Do it for your players. They deserve to be defended.

Grow up. Les' lack of reaction is not because he can't afford the fine. It's about getting a fair shake in the next two SEC games and finishing 10-2. If you don't think Slive's refs would come down on us against Ol Miss or Arkansas after Less trashes them to the SEC ofice, you're nuts. This is not a a tough choice Les makes: the 8-5 Chick Fil-A Bowl or the 10-2 Cap-1 Bowl. If Les wants to criticize the refs, he can do it when the season ends. Right now, it's time to be smart and act classy.

So what you're saying is that the SEC office does dictate to officials which teams they want to favor. And Miles is scared to publicly expose this conspiracy out of fear of getting screwed in the next two games?
Am I understanding you correctly?

You dont want to give you players the attitude of a "victim".. still have three games left.. you want them to man up... get pissed and come out and play.
If he comes out and cries like a baby... his team will feel sorry for itself...
plus do we really want to be Kiffin? Everyone already knows about the bad officiating.. no use in risking a suspension..

It'll all be better next year. Our offense will run like a finely tuned race car because our players will have yet another year to learn where to line up. Bama & Florida lose too many players, so victories against them will be easy, and none of the other teams on LSU's schedule will strive to be any better than they were this year. Right?

I'm disappointed that he didn't at least allude to the fact that officiating could have been better. Everybody in the nation saw at the very least two very bad calls; the interception and the interference call.
Calls are missed in every game but bad officiating is bad officiating and if you're afraid to say it don't expect the officials to back off bad officiating just because you won't say it.
I'm not a fan of Kiffen or Urban but I do admire their guts to stand up for their team.

This doesn't mean that he doesn't think they blew the call. The national media is making sure that everybody knows that it was a blown call. The argument has alot more credibility coming from them than the guy with the most vested interest. I'm sure Les got his point across to the right people in the right forum. There's no need for him to re-hash it now while the national media is doing it for him.

He obviously saw Julio touching the ball while he was out of bounds - making the so called interception an incompletion.

If he comes out and cries like a baby...

Now that I've read the transcript of his press conference (Dandy Don has the whole openening statment and most or all of the responses to questions), I've gotta say, I don't think Les handled it badly at all.

This is rich. Look at it again, Julio was in the air when he "touched the ball" - he did not. And yes, he left the ground while he was in the field of play... This is the worst excuse for a bad call. A conspiracy - doubtful. Horrendous call - beyond doubt.

Right... say it at the end of the year. I see.
So do they forget at the end of the year and maybe not remember for the following year? BS. Stand up for what is right and fight the tyranny and opression on us football fans.
