Baseball is horribly stupid. In what other sport does one's offense have so little impact on the OPPONENT'S offense?

The sport has become pretty stupid in my opinion. No salary cap to balance out teams. You just buy a championship. Umps are horrible and have no idea what a strike zone is.
The existence of the DH as the most retarded position in sports history. At least kickers and punters have to make a defensive play from time to time.
Seriously, I enjoy watching college baseball when LSU is playing, but that's only cause its LSU. High school ball is fun because you can see kids love the game, and same with little league.

between that and steroids, as much as i used to watch and know everyone's stats, i could almost care less....

So if a dislike of baseball in un-American, then is a dislike of soccer un-the rest of the world? Which brings up another question. Is it ok to dislike one, but not the other? I'm confused.

Until it gets a salary cap or some kind of competitive balance MLB cannot be taken seriously.

I love this argument...would you really watch college baseball if LSU wasn't involved? Did you watch college baseball the 2 years LSU missed the NCAA tournament? I find regular season college baseball to be the most unwatchable sport of them all, especially on TV. Production is usually awful and the quality of play disparity between college and MLB is >>>> college football and NFL or college basketball and NBA.

Those who don't understand the game in it's entirety don't love baseball. Once you get into it and understand it, it's anything but boring. I live for baseball. Can't wait for the new season.
