You're right Bud Selig. Everything's fine.

No, it's all good. The Twins make the playoffs sometimes too so everything's cool.

trading for cc was a terrible move for the franchise

the brewers are frickED in the pitching department for the immediate future, and are going to have to trade a stud, either a current or minor leaguer to get something going

I will admit that right now the best option for a "small market" team to win the World Series is to take the Marlins approach- draft well and hope you stack enough talent to win in a small time window, then sell off everything and start over. But that's pretty fricked. MLB's competetive imbalance is a fricking disgrace.

A salary cap isn't the answer. I don't know what the answer is.

I don't see how people can hate baseball. Hell you can take a family of 4 to a MLB game and spend under a hundred for food, parking and tickets. Try that with a NFL game. Plus baseball games are more family friendly and relaxing to watch on a summer day. I go to both minor and major league games. Love em.

Baseball evolved from a couple of English sports - Rounders and Cricket. There is only ONE true American sport - Lacrosse.

But I still like baseball.

Oh, sort of like that 40 seconds you have to wait between football plays?

This argument is silly. Pitches are thrown in baseball more often than plays are run in football, and on anyone of them, something can happen. Sure, there is alot more to watch during a football play than a baseball pitch, but people who use this argument are just trying to find a way to degrade baseball because they don't like it for other reasons.

you killed your own point. Football plays are every 25 to 40 seconds, but everyone on the field is involved somehow on pretty much every play.

Baseball is 3 people playing with each other and 7 other dudes picking their noses. HUGE difference.

Again, any sport where its basically between 3 players interacting for 85 to 90% of plays is retarded.

Furthermore, the fact that these guys used illegal drugs and got caught and yet nothing was done to them, is utterly ridiculous. It likely happens in football, but they at least have the face of a policy to stop it, no matter how inefficient it may be. Baseball did nothing for how many years?

You have no idea how the game of baseball is played past t-ball.

This has nothing to do with this thread. And even if it did, baseball now has the most strict PED policy of any sport.
