Do you think the panthers can give the saints their first loss? Jason La Canfora, NFL Network
I do. This to me is a bigtime trap game. Saints have been riding high and getting a ton of turnovers and are do for a letdown and a game where they fall falt and can't come back. Panthers know them well and will try like heck to runt he ball the way Atlanta did last week (with ellis out that helps). If Jake can hold on to the ball and the Panthers grind it out in ball control game, I give them a definite shot. I picked them as my penny stock on NFL Total Access last night.

he wants to write an "I told you so" article Monday, where he can say he picked the Panthers when nobody else did

when he's wrong, he'll never mention it again

sportswriters have no credibility whatsoever.

Trap game implies losing focus. I just don't see that happening with this team.

You say the Panthers can hand the Saints their first loss. my question - WILL THEY? Jason La Canfora, NFL Network
I'm going to pick them as my upset special this week. But if I knew for sure what was going to happen I wouldn't be doing this chat from my office/attic and going on TV tonight from my laundry room/studio.

The saints have, what, 8 turnovers the past 2 games? If the saints were to have a trap game and lose, it would have been to either miami or atlanta. I just don't see us turning the ball over that much again this week. Sorry. But i do see jake throwing 3 or 4 int's

4 picks. Sharper 2. Greer 1. Porter 1. And a Jake fumble returned for a TD By Vilma.

every week is gonna be "a trap game" and every week someone will come out and call for the upset.. because upsets are easy to call for.. you have nothing to lose by doing so and everything to gain. you are wrong no one cares.. but if you are right you look like a genuis.. predicting upsets is a joke.

there's nothing that even indicates a trap game for this one, the MNF game was perfect in the sense that we got the win and we still made enough mistakes for Payton to keep everyone in line and not eating the cheese. the key to this game is getting an early lead, if the Saints go up by 14 or 21 they'll force Jake to throw all day which could lead to a 42-7 type of blowout.
